Trick or Treating at Lincoln's Children's Zoo

It took an hour to meander through the line. We got the good candy AND toothpaste and koolaid and apples and cheetos and nestle quick and cookies.

Hiking

I hiked for hours with mom and dad. We went through the kettles to Mauthe Lake and hiked around some of the lake then back to Olivia's horse camp.

First Day of 6th Grade

I didn't get lost and had some one I knew in every class.

Sushi

I have been begging to try sushi so mom gets me some and I tried it but didn't really like it.

Fair Judging

All projects done. General Grevious did not survive. Mom brought out my space police. 2 reds and 7 blues. The drawing judge gave me sone good tips.

Llama show was Saturday.

Stardust was not good when backing even after I did it the way George showed me! It was a good day though and I won another blanket for reserve champion.

I love the farmer's market!

The cheese lady is there on Wednesday! So is the bread guy. I ripped the crust off the bread and ate it walking around. Gramma said she wasn't allowed to touoch the crust when gramma gg made bread.

We're walking in another parade for Todd today. This is the third one. Hope we are in front so I can get some candy.

Mom bought me this cool sketch book so I dont have to use the Spiderman notebook anymore. I'm keeping them in my desk.

Softball

Softball was so fun! I got to be the catcher. DQ was the best part!

Mulberries, mulberries, raspberries

Bix and I picked and ate lots of mulberries yesterday. I wish I had a mulberry tree. I'm picking the raspberries today.

Maybe a chef

Maybe I'll be a chef. I like to cook. I cleaned the carrots for stew. Mom puts a lot of stuff in there.

Dad fixed the leak. Now I can jump in!

I was Summerfested

I ate, I walked, I listened to music. We watched the Admirals & got tickets. I got to see the magic show.

Lunches

I helped make the summer school lunches today and guess what?! I got one at the Boys & Girls Club for lunch when I was visiting Jon today! I ate 3 peaches. No one wanted them.

Dairy Breakfast

Connor helped me with the egg and spoon races in the afternoon. We made the kids step through a hula hoop!

Corbin Graduated

His party was a whole lot of fun.. I played football and hung out in the woods.

Caterpillars

We found a lot of monarch caterpillars at Cathi's when we were playing in the pond and stream. We put 5 in gramma's garden.

Llama Show

I'm done with llama shows until the fair! Stardust was good. I got a 5th in pack.

5th Grade Recognition

I played my French horn in the band tonight and all the 5th gradeers sang. We had a party with cake and punch and every 5th grader got a HUGE candy bar.

Kettle Moraine Klassic

I DID NOT BELIEVE IT! I took first in showmanship with Ariel and NO show clothes! Dad was in total shock. I get to show in Nationals for this.

Cathi's

I helped with the llamas today then sat in the shade. I didn't get to swim in the pond.

Hot Dog, I Love Reading!

Dad took me to the book fair and hot dog fry out at school. I bought some Goosebumps books.

Nice day

Pancake breakfast then took Mr. B outside.

Spaceport

Field trip today. We dropped an egg and mine survived. We got ice cream made with half & half, vanilla, and liquid or something else, something not flammable or toxic.

Reserve Champion

Stardust didn't want to do some stuff on Saturday, and I forgot to smooth her fiber. I won LOTS of raffles though!

Presidental Award

I go to South High tonight to get my award signed by President Obama!

GRAND CHAMPION

I was the Grand Champion of the all the performance classes! I got two blues and a yellow. I qualified for nationals and didn't even know it.

Llama Show

Obstacles were today. Now I get to SWIM at the pool!

WW II

I have to take in 2 things about WW II. I had two army soldiers. Mama found two pictures Uncle Bill took when he was there. They are small and black and white.

TYA Party

Lots of good food and music! I want to be in the summer play. When I talked to Deb she asked me how old I was going to be and when I said 12 she said I should think about a director in training. I signed up for performing and that.

Folding Boxes

I was the box folder at Pizza Ranch. Pizza boxes were stacked from the floor ro the ceiling.

Hay bales!

We climbed the haybales today and they started falling! Stardust was good. It was very windy today!

Mystery Chicken

Mom took me to see the chickens. I think the mystery one is a black sumatra.

Got my new glasses today.

They had a cool mirror that was on a pulley from the ceiling!

Eating out

All the Posts went out to eat tonight. 48 of us. I love kddie cocktails. Corbin stole O's cherries!

The eye doctor put some drops in. I look spooky! I'm getting new glasses. 403 dollars -that's 4 brickbeard bounties!

Dad, Mr. B and Me

I helped dad in the yard. We took the lights off the tree. Mr. B got into trouble and had lots of exercise.

Mr. B ate the center of my plum. I cut into slices. I held the pit and Mr. B nibbled it.

Octopus Report

Brought home my report to type but left my Friday folder in my desk. I never remember everything.
AND, I got a letter in the mail for a president award!

Saint Patrick's Day!!!!!

My favorite holiday next to Halloween! Gramma always makes me corned beef. I wore lots of green. Did you know the color was actually blue???

Going to play at Tanner's then work with the new boy and the llamas.

Blacksmithing

Got to go to project days and make two blacksmithing projects with Mr. Schlink. The leaf is going to be a necklace and I made a copper beetle.

Deer tracks

Dad, mom and I followed the deer tracks into the woods. We saw turkey tracks and 2 cranes and a woodpecker hole. Then I played in the mud until Olivia's lesson was over.

Concert

It was the 3-5 grade concert. We sang I Love Geography, I How Lovely This Evening, and Tiki Chant.

Archery and Firehouse

Had a good lesson and I have to pull back to my ear. I LOOOOOVE going to Firehouse with Bonnie, Tessa, Todd & Lisa. He is so GOOFY!

Beginner Houseplants

Cool! I got bloodleaf, a baby jade, sweet potato, coleus, and a whole bunch more. I can't wait to plant them all! I got chicken gizzard for Olivia!

Love Bowls

SOUP!!!! Chicken noodle, split pea with ham, tomato ravioli, beef with barley and vegetables! There were 67 soups. I was in soup heaven.

Bowling

I'm going bowling with Tanner and his family and Bradley then staying overnight.

BABY CHICKS!

There are 27 fuzzy chicks! Delaware, wyandotte, andalusian, and the one I really want is a mystery chick. It is all black even its beak. I have to identify it is as it grows!

Battle of the Books

We did good. We didn't get a metal or ribbon but it was fun.

Game Night With Dad

We played Snorta, Apples to Apples, 7 Ate 9, and Jungle Speed. I was the only 5th grader.

Maybe the earthquake is why

Ziggy was acting different last night. Maybe he could sense it. He stayed close to mom when she was working at the diningroom table and he cuddled for a really long time when I was reading. I wonder if Bix is up now.

First Achery Session

I hit the targets 6 out of 9 times.

Paintin the Fence

Today was the last day of the play and mom took us to see it. I got the Tom Sawyer book.

A Tent

I made a tent for the kitties. Ziggy & El Dorado are zooming in and out of the blanket and attacking the roof from the inside!

3rd quarter swim class for gym!

Going to my school has its privledges, a heated swimming pool.

I made homemade playdoh with mom's class then we picked up Nick and went to Blue Harbor all afternoon and night! I missed Wii with dad.

My First Poutry Meeting

It was in the log building! We get to pick out eggs and the kind of chicken we want.

Hay Throne

I had a throne when we were stacking hay today. I tossed the bales from the trailer and got to be at the top of the elevator in the hay mow.

Making pumpkin bread

Gramma and I made pumpkin bread. She put apple juice in it. Next time we're adding chocolate chips!

6th grade orientation

Dad & I toured Horace Mann. I can't wait for the great lunches.

We went to the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and painted a square on the mural.

Fleece Dog Throws

I helped mom at the after school program helping the kids make fleece blankets for the humane society.

Ziggy was almost a murderer

He knocked Cupid's cage down, the top came off and I saved Cupid from certain death.

McDonald's Day

We got 10 points in Mr. Schwalbe's class so we had Mcdonalds for lunch. It snowed 6 inches today for recess!

We played games all day. 3 hours of Catopoly, and then Apples to Apples then Buzzword!
