Salmon

Mom made salmon for supper with fried potatoes. It was so yummy. El Dorado liked his salmon too. We are made for each other! Ziggy did not eat his so we had to put away the dish so El Dorado wouldn't eat it all.

Llama Camp was awesome!

I slept in the top bunk. I got a ride with Olivia and at night I got to drive the cart alone with Emporer! We hiked and I found acorns and shells in Pickeral Lake. There were these little cards with llamas stamped on them and when we found them we could get prizes. We had a super fun campfire with hot chocolate. We had Llama Olympics today. All the llamas got scarves with their names on them.

Mr. B

I got up early again. I let Mr. B play in the yard and I fed him half an apple and some spinach.
El Dorado and Ziggy watched from the kitchen window. They love the windows open and the sunroom.

Stardust was covered in burrs!

It took mom an hour to get most of them off. I gave Stardust a little grain as a reward for being mostly good. She did kush a few times. We gave the llamas hay after helping at the dog show. I'm so glad I didn't get poop patrol. Ick.
And El Dorado escaped twice tonight. He is so fast! We put a collar on him with tags for during the daytime now.

Camping

We had supper at gramma and grampa's campsite then we walked on the boardwalk. We burned all the fire wood. I found a piece of bark that looks like a coyote.

My new kittten

El Dorado is what I've decided to name him. He is an orange mack tabby and 7 months old. He already attacked mom's spider plant and the Indian corn! (He has some of Callie's toys. I don't think she'd mind. I still miss her and hope El Dorado will sleep with me like she did. She was the best pet ever but I know I'll love El Dorado too.)

It's Mama's birthday!

I got up very early to wish her happy birthday. I asked dad to go to the farmers market cuz it is closed by the time I get out of school for a big bunch of flowers with teddy bear sunflowers. We had puckery lemon bars. Olivia played her oboe & I played the French horn.

Gerald McBoing Boing

I taped it so Olivia can watch it.

Coupon Book

The book is from PTO. We have to sell it. I marked the pages for Legoland. Mom says that's in California, I said that's the point!

Catching Critters

I am so excited! We are going to the marsh today and I am in the catching critter group.

I waded in with boots and used a net. I found a dragonfly nymph, a fairy shrimp, a boatman, and some other things.

Tomorrow I canoe and we get to eat lunch in it floating in the marsh.

Daylillies and root beer floats

I helped gramma in her garden this morning. We had frothy, creamy, sudzy root beer floats for break.
Dad took us to the beach at Terry Andrae in the afternoon.

Finally, my legos are home!

I waited until the last day of fair to bring Soldier's Fort home. I was at the llama area all day today. Every day of fair I had a chicken sandwich and a mint chocolate shake!

Shake Guy

I was the chocolate shake maker. I also helped carry stuff. I found where my drawings are hanging. So many neat lego projects!
